Greetings!
As co-moderator of the Holy Relationships National Steering Committee , I have had the pleasure of participating in a number of Holy Relationships events and meetings from New York City to Iowa City, Iowa. Through Holy Relationships , I have witnessed the power of Spirit bringing about renewal and reconciliation at the intersection of faith, sexuality, and relationships. I have witnessed that power of Spirit not only in others, but in my own life journey.
I believe in the work of Holy Relationships --and I do so, because I see that Holy Relationships is more than just another program. Holy Relationships generates energy beyond itself--and that, I believe, is indication of Spirit manifesting abundantly. Every year I hear from a wide variety of people who talk to me about "what they are doing," at home, at school, in the church, and in society to help create 'holy relationships.'
In a word, I am inspired !
I warmly invite you, then, to participate in the Holy Relationships 2007 Midwest Regional Conference . I promise you that November 2-4, 2007 will be three days of life-giving conferencing, networking, strategizing, and work-shopping. Come to share ideas! Come to be healed. Come to be renewed. I promise you that by the time we are finished, all of us will walk away transformed by Spirit's presence!
As you review the content of the upcoming conference on this website, you will see that the conference planning team is bringing you 'top of the line' sessions and speakers. But to tell you the truth, what makes a Holy Relationships event miraculous is not the best selling authors who speak, or the theologians who guide us. What makes a Holy Relationships event miraculous are the people who gather. At Holy Relationships , you become part of the leadership. Your ideas--your experiences--and your voice will be heard. At Holy Relationships events, we don't just talk about 'holy relationships,' we create them.
